St Vinnies, Darlinghurst NSW

26 Jun

I normally do my op shopping during the week and hit the markets on the weekend as most op shops have limited trading hours on the weekend. They tend to trade til 12pm on a Saturday and close Sunday. We spent this past weekend staying in Sydney and were sad that it was pouring rain the entire time forcing all the city markets to cancel. So just imagine my excitement when we spotted an op shop open on the Sunday!!! After scoring a free (!) car parking spot close by and wiping our wet boots at the door best we could we spent the best part of an hour scouring the St Vinnies op shop on Oxford street, Darlinghurst. ย My man fared the best in this store, shopping up an absolute storm! Me? I found a few things that were unfortunately not my size yet still came away with a black Witchery seamless top that is keeping me snug as I type.

Yes that's him with the big armful of clothes!

In all we came away with quite a lot of menswear – 4 pairs of shorts, 2 business shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, a short sleeve shirt and 2 pairs of shoes for $107 total.

Make sure you walk around the corner to Crown street you’ll find some great vintage shops including Grandma Takes a Trip, C’s Flashback and my fave Route 66ย for vintage American denim & cowboy boots.

Happy Hunting!
